Symptoms and effects of chronic pain

The pain felt by the individual person continues to be very real, but it may or may not be related to physical injury or illness. Instead, it can be of a psychogenic nature (pain which is not due to past illness or injury or any visible sign of damage inside or outside the nervous system). These causes can include emotional distress, biochemical imbalances or damage to the central nervous system itself.

The most common symptoms of chronic pain

  1. muscle strains and sprains
  2. back pain
  3. arthritis and other joint problems
  4. headaches
  5. Lyme disease
  6. nerve damage
  7. acid reflux or ulcers
  8. sleep disorders

Treatment for chronic pain

Chronic pain treatment

Recognising that pain is a serious problem is the first step towards finding the right and effective treatment. In The Kunsnacht Practice, each client receives an adapted treatment plan to identify the root causes of chronic pain. Together, we can identify the source of pain and develop a comprehensive treatment plan that takes into account general health and lifestyle. Our clinical team uses evidence-based procedures to treat customers individually (one in time, never in groups) in a luxurious environment.

We provide the very best care and comfort. The investment starts at CHF 93,000 per week, depending on the requirements of the individual client. Fees are settled directly by the client (we do not work with insurance companies) and we can supply written quotations upon request.

The Kusnacht Practice services are not covered by Swiss health insurances. All costs are to be covered directly by the clients. Patients who are domiciled in Switzerland and are therefore mandatorily health insured may be reimbursed by their health insurance for medical services in accordance with the Federal Law on Health Insurance (KVG) and its implementing provisions.
